This kid is funny. I mean if looks could kill, I certainly would not be writing this right now. I try to pick out attributes of his that are like Andrew's and like mine. But Tate is
definitely his own creature. Sure, I notice when he smiles, our eyes are similar. When he gets mad, well, that's Andrew. But he has numerous
characteristics that I
have no idea where they came from. Tate stands his own with Toby and is Mr. Independent during the day when hanging out with his big brother and me. When Andrew comes home from work, however, all bets are off. Tate turns into a sap and so does his dad. No matter what he is doing, he will stop playing and run to Andrew and jump in his arms. He then puts his head on his shoulder where he will remain for the duration of about 5 minutes...this is EVERYDAY! I never get snuggle time with him like that so I have to saturate my 3 year old with squeezes. Andrew says I am making him into a wimp but I think he is wrong. I'm just showing him that it is
ok to love your mama!
I will say that every once in a while (maybe it coincides with a full moon or something), Tate lets me grab him and kiss him. Oh, how I live for those moments. Come to think of it, that is probably why he doesn't let me do it very often...I squeeze too hard and never want to let him go. I'll keep working on him, though. I'll turn him into a lover if it's the last thing I do. Love you, my Tater-Tot!

And to think that I was the only one Tate did not like. His looks are so funny, but they do hurt your feelings. I still love you though Tate!
Tater-Tot...that is adorable...
He's adorable. You're adorable. Your family is adorable.
I'm surprised you all haven't hugged and snuggled each other into a massive black hole of cuddliness...
I would have...
Love you...
hahahaha...that is so funny! Kobe is like that...he definitely is a daddy's boy. I try and talk him into being a mama's boy, but no luck so far. :)
I love this....what a darling picture of you and Tate. He reminds me of you with those dirty looks. They could rip your heart out. But look how much you love your momma. :) He does too!
I love to read what you write about the boys. Keep it up!
Hi, Michelle!
It was fun to peek into your world again today. That picture is so cute!!
It's hard to believe how big he's getting though. When is time going to slow down? ;)
Michelle,
I found your blog a while ago and periodically check in. I can completely relate to the need to suffocate my boys with snuggles. What can I say, I'm their mother. We, too are having boy #3--10 weeks left! I'm glad you're feeling better! It's fun to see you and your family!

Oh, Michelle, thanks for popping into Sylvan Drive today! :)
How are you feeling? Got a name picked out for Boy #3 yet? :)
I hope everything is going well for you!
Thanks for your sweet comment, michelle! We are certainly enjoying our little ladybug.
When are you due?! How are you doing?
