Handy Manny

I have my very own "Handy Manny" that lives with me. Sometimes we call him Toby for short ;) I think he gets his love for figuring things out from his daddy. I am more like Mr. Lopart. Manny aka Toby is always trying to find something to fix, something to create or something to help him be like Andrew. I really admire his patience with learning and I thouroughly enjoy his triumphs when he completes the task at hand. I hope that this love of learning and working with his hands will serve him well someday when he has a family of his own. I sure love the $$ WE have saved by having my very own "fix-it" man at home. I think I take it for granted but when I hear of some of the services my friends pay for, I am reminded that I am very lucky! Here is Toby "fixing" the front door. He wanted to dress up like Handy Manny so we grabbed MY belt, a hat, a pencil behind the ear and of course, TOOLS.

Toby loves to be out in the garage with Andrew in the evenings. Andrew hooked Toby up with his very own piece of wood held by a vise so he could learn how to properly hammer nails and take them out. Don't cha just love the intensity?

Here is my lil' man painting an airplane that him and Andrew put together. He loved gluing it and picking out the colors to paint. He is very detailed oriented and he DOES get at least that part from his mommy. ;)
WE LOVE YOU, OUR "HANDY MANNY!"

Two in one day?!?!? O..M..G...!!!! It's the weekend and I need extra reading material. So glad Toby is getting the best qualitites from both his mom & dad. He is so awesome! I absolutely love the pencil behind his ear...does it get any cuter than that?? Andrew is definately a great father and those boys are so lucky to have him teach them so many wonderful things!

I just loved the pictures of Toby, so what was wrong with the door? Just looking at him, he's grown so much. He's doing a darn good job of painting, did Andrew give him tips on painting. G-pa will be hiring for Pieracini's Painting soon. He'll have to move up here to work. Yea, Yea, Love what you wrote.

I love him all dressed up and those pictures of him working side by side with Andrew are precious. Those moments are priceless. You are a good Mom for capturing and recording them!
