Cheerios

Today I had a bowl of cereal. Interesting, I know. But as I cut a banana over my bowl of Cheerios, I was reminded of my mom. I loved Cheerios growing up and she would always cut up a banana to go in my bowl. I remember her using a butter knife and cutting it so quickly. Her hands always looked so pretty when she did so. I remember thinking that I hope my hands are that pretty when I grow up. (They are NOT, by the way) I love you mom, for all the "bananas" you have cut up in my lifetime to make moments special for me.

Michelle....
What a beautiful thought. I love you so much...and loved our moments together while you were growing up. .....and moments now. I never would have thought anyone would remember bananas.....I think I'm gonna cry.
and Jess...thanks, sweetie. love to you, too!

The simplest things mean so much to us. You have the sweetest Mom, I'm glad that I could adopt her as well.
