I concluded today that I am getting old. Not only have I recently noticed a few wrinkles on my face, namely one between my eyes which makes me realize I need to smile more, but I found a new hobby. I found myself sitting on my back porch, watching birds. Yep, watching birds. There were 3 woodpeckers goin' to town on one of our trees and I watched their enthusiasm for quite some time. I then noticed a cardinal, blue jay and a few others that were populating my backyard.
Just wait, you might see me sporting soon a turtleneck and a bird sweatshirt. I might even put up a bird calendar! Here's to getting old!

Seriously though, those "moments" are fuel. We need to fill up now and then. You are burnin' gas pretty quickly with those two little guys, so sit and enjoy.

I was thinking, as I was reading that you thought you were old, "Michelle, you do not have wrinkles...you're not looking old". But then you mentioned bird watching. Really?? THAT IS a sign. :)

Ok, I definitely saw a bird sweatshirt at the thrift store yesterday. :) We used to be fascinated by the doves that nested in our backyard!
