michelle loves andrew

Things are about to get CRAZY around here. Baby Boy #3 is about to join us in a few weeks and I can't wait for the chaos. But in all of this, my 9 year wedding anniversary is right around the corner also. June 9th, 2001 was our day. Our day to start this journey together. Little did we know what was in store for us.

I'm glad that we have had ups and downs...really...so grateful. When things really matter, when life gets complicated and scary, we KNOW how to cope with them and with each other. I wouldn't want to share all of this with anyone else. I sometimes look at Andrew and think to myself why I get to be his wife? He treats me like royalty, for the most part ;) and is teaching our boys to do the same. He told me the other night that sometimes he catches me talking on the phone to my mom, bragging about him and he thinks that I exaggerate how wonderful he is. If anything, Andrew, I hold back. I really do feel all of those things that I say. Happy Anniversary, my love. You make me smile.

I am one lucky girl.

Just a few reasons why I love my Andrew.

• He is a loving and supportive son.
• He is a loving and supportive dad.
• He genuinely wants to take our kids places and hang out with them, even if I am not with them.
• He says thoughtful prayers at night with our sons.
• He is a people person.
• He has a super smooth forehead that I noticed 16 years ago and he STILL has it.
• He is always ready to play with the kids.
• He shows the boys, with patience, how to fix things.
• He doesn't over-analyze situations, like me.
• He is ALWAYS willing to do dirty work...change diapers, clean up dog messes, pick up spilled accidents etc...
• He is a very competitive athlete.
• He encourages me to hang out with my girlfriends or simply do things for myself.
• He has forgiven me on many occasions faster than he receives it.
• He gives great birthday gifts.
• He has good intentions.
• He gives everything he has to his friends and family. Time, energy, knowledge etc...
• He makes the moolah! (And I get to play house everyday because of his hard work!)
• He loves ALL sports.
• He has faults. This makes ME feel more human.
• He is amazing in places that I won't mention on my PG blog ;)
• He is so handsome!
• He gives perfect hugs...just perfect... and he loves to snuggle.
• He has a strong testimony of the Savior.
• He respects his father.
• He lets me be myself and even at my worst, it's ok.
• He is affectionate.
• He still gives me butterflies when we "make-out"...seriously.
• He thinks I'm adorable when I am pregnant. Whatever dude...
• He takes care of me when I don't feel good.
• He dances at receptions even if he is the only one on the dance floor.
• He adores his siblings and wants to be a good brother.
• He gets me ice water every night to put on my night stand in case I get thirsty. (This is just while I am pregnant, though.)
• His favorite candy is Swedish Fish and he could eat a whole box in one sitting.
• He is literally the hardest worker I have ever met/seen.
• He can keep a secret.
• He will help anyone in need.
• He can cry in front of me.
• He will put a pillow over his head to drown out the TV noise if I am still watching a show and he wants to go to sleep without saying a word.
• He says goodnight and kisses me EVERY NIGHT before we go to sleep.
• He makes homemade Birthday and Valentines Day cards.
• Did I mention he is so hot?
• He puts me and the boys first, always.
• He trusts my judgement.
• He keeps his garage/boy stuff completely organized.
• He takes care of himself.
• HE LOVES ME!
