I just got back from my doctor's appointment. She asked if I had been having Braxton Hikes and I told her that not only have I experienced those but actual contractions. I'm very familiar with those sensations! They have been sporadic but definitely present. So just to be safe, she decided to do an internal exam. To both of our surprise, I am already 3 1/2 cm dilated and almost 100% thinned out. YIKES! She said that my water will likely break shortly and I will probably have this baby in the next few days. If not, I'll return next Wed. to her office for an ultrasound then go directly to the hospital for delivery. Needless to say y'all, this will be a short post because I have a few things to do in the next little while to prepare!!!!!!!!!!

Yay, Michelle! I have been gone for a few weeks and was just getting caught up on your blog and found this news! I am eagerly awaiting the news of this little guys arrival.
