Discover

A few weeks ago, my neighbor Heather and I took the boys down to Macon Georgia to the Children's Museum. Admission was only $3 so we thought "What a steal...let's do this!"

Toby, Hunter and Trevor. (Hunter is our neighbor and Toby's best friend. Trevor is Hunter's uncle and decided to tag along for the day. I almost didn't let him unless he cut his hair!)

Um, we were less than impressed with the museum. But when life hands you lemons...Heather performed a make shift puppet show that had me in stitches. Maybe she did it for the boys but I think I enjoyed it the most. Thanks Heather for being silly!

Tate thought it was the greatest place on earth.

I don't think I told Andrew that this was Toby's favorite thing to play with...a doll house.

He also thought the zoo replica was pretty fun.

This pitiful thing should be put down. The dog is pretty hideous too!! HA!

This smile lights up my life!

Toby and Hunter love to find places to hide or crawl in.

" Welcome to WGCM. I'm Toby and here are today's top stories."

I've always loved these things.

The day's outlook improved when we ventured into the basement. The museum had a few small houses representing different nations where the boys could explore. This was Toby's favorite, Japan.

"Everybody was Kung-Foo fighting..."

"Extra, Extra read all about it!" Hunter liked manning the newspaper stand.

Toby had never seen Russian dolls before and he was mesmerized.

Again, Tate was just happy being there!

Your boys always look so handsome! I feel like my kids faces are always dirty and their clothes always have food smeared on them...

It looks like you guys had a blast!

My top 3 favorite pictures are:

1- Toby in the Kimono
2- Heather with the dog... lol
3- Tate with the tic tac toe thing.

ps... i commented. : )

I think it sounded great. What are you comparing it to Cedar Point. I'm with Jessie I love Toby in the Kimono. What did Andrew say? It looks like a place I might want to go. I love how you have such cool pictures.

Oh, I love children's museums! they are really the best, no matter how old you are.

Also, they are not stick ons. I'm an artist!! I sketched them out and painted them!!! And I would be willing and eager to do something similar for your boys if we can ever make it out to GA!

Michelle-
Have you tried the Museum of Arts and Science in Macon? Much better, you can dig in the sand for fossils!

It doesn't look THAT bad. It does look like you and Heather had more fun making fun of the place than anything! :) Hilarious.

Hey Emily!!! You are right. It wasn't horrible just not what we expected. In fact, I probably would go back just for something to do to "beat the heat."

Loved the big smiles on everyone's faces...do you even have a picture of Tate when he is not smiling?
Your happy family is awesome.
