Andrew and I were so excited to have some family down to Georgia to share in the Easter festivities this year. Megan and Dad decided to come down late Friday night and spend sometime with the boys before Meg left this week for BYU Idaho. (Mom is flying out there with her to get her settled and see her new stomping ground.) We had such a fun time just being together. (It's always good to revert back to your childhood and be "Daddy's Little Girls" if only for a weekend.)
Saturday, we OF COURSE visited the Sock Shoppe. This is a must when visiting Griffin, GA to many of my family members. After our fair share of socks, t-shirts and jewelry, we stopped by our Ward Easter Party. The weather was gorgeous and Toby loved searching out a BLUE egg. He is obsessed with the color blue. Unfortunately, the eggs were not cooked completely. (On a side note, I feel really bad that I made fun of this detail. I think the gal that planned the party heard my snickers. I know it is hard to plan such an event for so many people and I am going to have to apologize next time I see her.) So, Toby located a blue egg and accidentally dropped it on the ground. He kept petting it and kissing it because "It boke, Mama".

I guess these are times that only a mom can make things right. The egg needed an emergency kiss from me to make it feel better...apparently. IT WORKED! I really think its recovery is on the up and up!

Toby just HAD to show the baby goat his injured friend. I think the goat was genuinely
concerned also.

Then it was time for Mr. Bunny to hear about the egg mishap. Peter Cottontail didn't care at all.

Toby decided to share the news with another friend.

Tate finally woke up from his slumber and was excited to see that his Poppy was holding him.

How could we resist such a sweetie-pie!

He was a
pretty happy boy and Tate was pretty content also!

Awwwww...beautiful Megs. She was a joy to have around and I miss her already. She is a great aunt who loves her nephews and I'm blessed that I get to be her sister.

Some Easter
lovin'.

The Easter Bunny came while everyone was taking a Sunday nap. That sneaky devil!

Tate loved his
Twizzlers the most out of everything he received.

Toby loved pulling out little treasures from his basket but the Slinky was the hit!

Dad and Megan could not contain themselves. (In their defense, I woke them up AND the Masters was on.) Poor dad, only 2 hours away from Augusta. So close...so close.
We then searched for a few eggs outside. It's funny that the eggs were placed in a small vicinity to the house. Lazy bunny!
